Last year was such a journey for EIGER after their first store opening in Eiger, Switzerland.
Known in many outdoor activities and sports, EIGER is in the talks about expanding further in its business operations, especially in Southeast Asia. Making waves through outdoor gear and apparel products, EIGER is committed to provide more top-notch qualities and include product innovations waiting in the future. Here’s more to their story.
Founded in 1989, Eiger Adventure – EIGER – created gears and apparels for people who live for nature. Constructed in the vast geographical landscape of Indonesia, EIGER had its visions and missions to bring sustainable retail fashion to greater heights and expand their innovative products in the global marketplace. Bringing “Tropical Adventure” as their innovation journey, EIGER started to focus its products, mainly in tropical countries outdoor activities. Such products were brought into three categories, Mountaineering, Riding, dan Eiger 1989 (Lifestyle), as mentioned in EIGER’s official website.
Creating Innovation for the Society
Their core values are not the only thing that brought EIGER into success, but collaborating and helping other smaller businesses and startups also contribute to the achievement. EIGER’s ambition in giving more to society is shown by many programs, one of which is their Co-Creation classes.
Co-Creation Class opens up networking events and workshops for content creators and people all over the world that are chosen from EIGER Adventure’s social media. Participants will routinely learn vast topics and trends in accordance with their requests or interests through 2021.
Beginning in Innoventure
Not only their Co-Creation classes, EIGER also held an open innovation competition named Innoventure. As a public event, participants who joined are expected to innovate ideas around outdoor activities and actualize it.
The competition is divided into three categories from innovation strategy, digital product innovation, to outdoor gears and apparel. Innovators who won the challenge will get prizes up to 300 million rupiahs and EIGER will support their innovation idea until it becomes a reality. This Innoventure opportunity was a breakthrough strategy for EIGER to spark innovators and creative leaders in achieving innovation freedom for startups.
EIGER's commitment to progress and sustainability not only enhances its appeal to customers but also fosters partnerships with like-minded businesses.
