Our know-it-all search engine – Google – is moving fast into the AI trend with Gemini.
Gemini is an adaptation of AI service from Google, where it responds to your requests using all information fetched from Google services or other sources. Basically, it provides us usual AI services as a regular prompt system does, but it has its own plus points.
Gemini can learn and understand a variety of text, audio, images, and videos in a vast language system, which shows its flexibility for users all over the world. Although, its features do differ from the Gemini Apps or LaMDA developed by Google before they launched their GenAI.
Provided with 3 types of models, Gemini is trained with many native languages and other forms of requests. Their 3 models also share various capabilities for each task we requested. From Gemini Nano which handles the simplest tasks, Gemini Pro scaling multiple tasks, and Gemini Ultra with high-complex tasks solving capabilities.
Gemini is also an amazing friend for startups with its business integration features, which can be applied to Google Workspace users. It can help with daily tasks and increase work productivity with its efficiency in controlling data for Gemini users. Gemini showed great efforts for companies that have used generative AI in their environment. Gemini can assist you with writing emails and documents, designing Google Slide presentations, organizing data in Spreadsheets, adjusting meetings, and even protecting your company’s data in Google Drive. However, it currently is a paid feature but users can try a free 14 day trial to test out the feature.
Although its first impressions weren’t great, as time goes by Gemini is chosen by AI users to be a better model, as TechCrunch stated. This positive feedback is also shown with Gemini’s progress in collaboration with Apple and Androids. Gemini are in the talks in integrating their AI Service in Iphones and Android mobile devices.
It is still a wide-spreading rumor but Cnet reported that Apple is considering using Google’s AI model as a regular iOS update. It is such a big deal for tech-enthusiast, since it marks the start of a real “modern smartphone” with ambitious ideas of solving problems that haven't been finished before. Same happening with Android, Gemini is reported to develop the AI model in Android Gmail Apps and working on adding new features in the Google AI Studio such as correcting responses more suitable for the user’s prompts.
Given the current developments, Google really stepped up their game in AI advancements with Gemini. Moving forward, Gemini plans to support more human activities, in which we can’t predict what other problems they are trying to solve. Much so, Google’s adventure in exploring the AI system is like a mystery waiting to be unfolded in the future of our digital journey.
